Karachi: Muslim League-N has announced the support of PPP for the mayorship of Karachi, President PMLN Sindh said that the mayor of Karachi will bring on merit.
According to the details, the contacts of political parties for the mayorship of Karachi are continuing, the delegation of People’s Party met with the president of Muslim League-N.
After the meeting, President PML-N Sindh and Provincial Minister Saeed Ghani held a press conference, in which PML-N announced the support of the People’s Party for the mayorship of Karachi, President PMLN Sindh said that the mayor of Karachi will bring on merit.
Provincial Minister Saeed Ghani said that the PML-N has assured us of its cooperation for the election of Mayor Karachi, PML-N and People’s Party are allies in the federation, they will try to get support for the mayor from other parties as well.
Saeed Ghani said that according to the numbers we have, our seats are 96 and Jamaat-e-Islami 82. According to the numbers we have, PTI has 43 seats. It is desired that they want to walk with Jamaat-e-Islami. It is desired that they want to walk with Jamaat-e-Islami.
He said that political parties should sit together to run Karachi in a better way, the majority party should have the right to run the city, PPP has the right to contact all parties to get its own mayor.
