ISLAMABAD: Three months after the price of paracetamol was increased again, Drap has fixed the new price.
According to the details, the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) has fixed the new maximum price of Paracetamol tablets, a notification has been issued.
According to the notification, the new price of Paracetamol 500 mg tablet has been fixed at Rs 2.67, the old price was Rs 2.35, the new price of the box will be Rs 534.
The new price of Paracetamol Extra 500 mg tablet has been fixed at Rs 3.32, while the old price was Rs 2.75, the new price of the box will be Rs 332.
It may be recalled that the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) had approved a summary of the paracetamol price hike this month.
The last time the price of paracetamol pill was increased was 3 months ago, the government increased the price of paracetamol on the demand of the companies.
