LAHORE: Anti-corruption has arrested the former Principal Secretary of Pervaiz Elahi, Muhammad Khan Bhatti.
DG Anti-Corruption Punjab Sohail Zafar Chatta has confirmed the detention of former Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Parvez Elahi’s former Principal Secretary Muhammad Khan Bhatti.
Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi’s direct Muhammad Khan Bhatti has been arrested by Anti Corruption from Balochistan, DG Anti-Corruption has formed a 4-member team to bring Mohammad Khan Bhatti to Lahore.
Former Chief Minister Parvaiz Elahi is accused of corruption of Rs 80 crore, bribery in appointments and transfers, taking commission in development projects directly against Muhammad Khan Bhatti.
In the case against Muhammad Khan Bhatti, C&W ex-inspector Rana Iqbal has already been arrested, the arrested accused Rana Iqbal has also recorded his confession.
