ISLAMABAD: The Sessions Court rejected the request to suspend the arrest warrant of Chairman PTI Imran Khan in the Tosha Khana case.
According to the details: Additional Sessions Judge Zafar Iqbal gave a reserved decision on the request to suspend the arrest warrant of PTI Imran Khan in the Tosha Khana case.
The court rejected the request to suspend the arrest warrant of Imran Khan and maintained the non-bailable warrant.
Earlier, District and Sessions Court Judge Zafar Iqbal heard the Tosha Khana case after a break, lawyer Khawaja Haris said that the matter is before the court, the court is requested to review the warrant.
Khuwaja Haris requested that the warrant of arrest be suspended, it is the authority of the court, he has given the undertaking to the court that he will appear in the court, all the facts are before the court.
On which the court said that the matter was simple, now it has become complicated, the police should have brought Imran Khan directly to us and the court cares about Imran Khan’s security but wants to implement the law.
Lawyer Khawaja Haris said that there is a development in the case of Imran Khan’s undertaking, the High Court said that the trial court should decide by looking at the undertaking, the matter before the court is now after the undertaking.
The lawyer further said that Imran’s original undertaking has also been submitted to the court, Imran Khan is surrendering before the law and the court has respect for it, the court is not canceling the warrant but only temporarily suspending it.
Imran Khan’s lawyer said that the court has asked him to appear in court on March 18, the High Court also said that you should place the undertaking before the trial court. After 2 days, there is no question of Imran Khan not appearing, Imran Khan will appear before the same court.
Khawaja Haris further said that the police are implementing the orders, the workers are emotional, Imran Khan will be in the court in two days. Not challenging the order of the court, but look at the situation after the undertaking, the mistakes made will not be forgiven, but their forum is different.
After which the court reserved its decision on the request to cancel the arrest warrant of Imran Khan in the Tosha Khana case.
Earlier in the hearing, Judge Zafraqbal had said in his remarks that if Imran Khan had come to the court, all the problems would have been solved. If the submission date is late, then the police cannot sit idly by.
The court had inquired why there was resistance, crores were spent, the money spent was yours and ours, according to the law, Imran Khan has to cooperate with the police and not resist.
