Paintings of Maryam Nawaz Sharif and former Army Chief General (R) Qamar Javed Bajwa were created by famous painter Rabi Pirzada, who was dissatisfied with the reaction of art enthusiasts.
In a tweet from last week, Rabi Pirzada pleaded with people to purchase her painting of Maryam Nawaz Sharif from the PML-N so that she could use the proceeds to aid the less fortunate.
Saif ul Malook, the president of the PMLN in Lahore, purchased Maryam Nawaz’s painting after her tweet became popular. However, Rabi also revealed during her interview that a PKR 6 lakh painting by Qamar Javed Bajwa has remained unsold for the past three years.
