Karachi: Sindh Police eliminated 106 criminal gangs in 122 encounters in 12 days.
According to the details, the IG Sindh has been submitted a performance report of the police against crimes from March 20 to 31, in which it is said that during this period 122 police encounters took place in the limits of various police stations across Sindh.
According to the report, 13 robbers were killed in these encounters while 106 criminal gangs were eliminated, 95 robbers who were injured in the police encounters were arrested, while a total of 442 robbers were arrested, one advertisement robbery was also arrested.
There were 6 police encounters in South Zone, in which 11 criminal gangs were eliminated, 1 dacoit was killed, 26 were arrested, including 7 were arrested in injured condition.
There were 31 police encounters in East Zone, in which 35 criminal gangs were eliminated, and 6 dacoits were killed, 191 arrested, including 41 injured. There were 15 police encounters in West Zone, in which 12 criminal gangs were eliminated, 95 dacoits were arrested, of which 15 were caught injured.
17 police encounters took place in Hyderabad range, in which 21 criminal gangs were eliminated, 1 dacoit was killed, 47 were arrested, 12 were injured.
Mirpur Khas range had 2 police encounters, in which 4 criminal gangs were eliminated, and 14 dacoits were arrested, SBA range had 2 police encounters, one criminal gang was eliminated and 8 dacoits were arrested.
25 police encounters took place in Sukkur range, 11 criminal gangs were eliminated, 3 dacoits were killed, 26 dacoits were arrested, 11 of whom were injured, 11 criminal gangs were eliminated, 2 dacoits were eliminated in 24 police encounters in Larkana range. 35 dacoits were killed, 9 were injured.
