2 Palestinians martyred by Israeli army firing

Nablus: Two Palestinians were martyred in a clash with the Israeli army in the West Bank city of Nablus. The Palestinian Ministry of Health says that the incident happened early in the morning.

According to the Palestinian news agency, one young man was martyred on the spot and another was seriously injured, later he also died.

Ahmad Jibril, Director of Ambulance and Emergency at the Red Crescent in Nablus, has said that the occupying forces attacked the special hospital in Nablus with poison gas bombs.

According to Al Arabiya.com, the occupying forces arrested two civilians during the raid. After searching his house, Izzuddin Tuqan from Qariun neighborhood of the old city and Nizal Tabanjah from Fatair Street were detained.

Local sources have said that the occupying forces stormed several areas of Nablus city and search and arrest operations are ongoing in hidden areas of the city.

About ten days ago, the Israeli media announced that two Israeli soldiers were wounded as a result of a shooting by a speeding Palestinian vehicle in Hawara, south of Nablus. The Israeli army has carried out massive operations to trace the vehicle used in the shooting.

It should be noted that since the beginning of this year, 100 people have been killed on both sides in the “Palestine-Israel conflict”. According to the records compiled by Agence France-Presse based on Israeli official and Palestinian sources, 86 Palestinians, 13 Israelis and one Ukrainian. Citizens have died.
