The woman was pulled alive from the grave after 10 hours

A woman who was buried alive in a Brazilian cemetery was exhumed after more than 10 hours.

Two men have been arrested for allegedly burying a 36-year-old woman at the Visconde do Rio Branco municipal cemetery in the southeastern state of Minas Gerais.

The mother of four was beaten and dragged out of her house on March 28 and later left at the burial ground, local police said.

The victim remained alive in the grave for 10 hours, the report said, after the gorkarns immediately called the police after seeing fresh cement and blood near the grave and hearing the woman’s screams for help.

The police said that they have arrested the accused who were planning to escape by leaving the woman in the graveyard.

The two suspects, aged 20 and 22, were previously arrested on charges of arms and drug trafficking.

The woman said that she forgot to keep their drugs and weapons in her house, after which we were attacked.

The woman said that last month, after the suspects forced their way into the woman’s house, they attacked her husband who managed to escape.

Later, the assailants dragged the woman from the house to the graveyard and put her in the grave. After regaining consciousness, I realized that I was trapped, the woman said.

When the graveyard men called the police, they were later pulled out by rescue workers.

According to the local media, the woman has got an injury on her head. Doctors say that the possibilities of arterial surgery are being evaluated and there is also a possibility of amputating her (finger).
