The national weather authority has issued a forecast indicating that a significant rise in temperature is expected, resulting in extremely hot and humid conditions in most parts of the country. According to reports from ARY News, a severe heat wave persists across the nation, and the Meteorological Department predicts that it will intensify further. Specifically, Nokundi may experience temperatures reaching up to 50 degrees Celsius, while Sabi could reach 47 degrees Celsius, and Turbat 41 degrees Celsius.

The Meteorological Department advises that most areas in Balochistan will continue to experience hot and dry weather conditions. However, there is a possibility of rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in the evening and night in Khuzdar and its surrounding regions. Meanwhile, the eastern and southwestern districts of Balochistan will remain subjected to intense heat.

Last night, Quetta experienced a minimum temperature of 25 degrees Celsius. However, the temperature is anticipated to escalate significantly, reaching up to 41 degrees Celsius during the day. Furthermore, there is a possibility of rain in certain districts later in the evening or at night.

Today, many districts in the provinces of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Sindh will continue to endure extreme heat. Similarly, Gilgit-Baltistan is expected to remain hot and arid throughout the day.

According to officials, there is a likelihood of dusty winds and strong gusts in the plains of the country starting from noon. The weather in Islamabad will remain hot throughout the day. However, there is a possibility of rain accompanied by strong winds in the evening and night. In the regions of Murree, Galiyat, and their surrounding areas, rain with thunder is expected during the nighttime. Additionally, there is a chance of rain with strong winds and thunder in a few places in Azad Kashmir.
