Islamabad: The Ministry of Energy has delivered an uplifting announcement to the public in celebration of Eid-ul-Azha.
As per the Ministry of Energy sources, a decision has been made to refrain from implementing electricity load-shedding across the entire country during the three days of Eid-ul-Adha.
The Ministry of Energy has reportedly requested detailed information from all power distribution companies regarding the demand and supply of electricity.
However, despite the Ministry of Energy’s statement of no load-shedding, reports suggest that unscheduled power outages are still occurring in various areas of the country, causing significant hardships for the people even prior to the arrival of Eid-ul-Azha.
The citizens are enduring extreme hardships as a result of prolonged load shedding, which spans approximately two-thirds of the day, exacerbating the challenges faced during the scorching heat. Failure to implement the Ministry of Energy’s directive may lead to further problems for the people due to the scarcity of electricity.
It is important to recall that Eid-ul-Azha, a religious festival celebrated with great enthusiasm, is scheduled to take place on June 29. During this occasion, millions of Muslims will fulfill the duty of sacrifice, following the example set by the Prophet Abraham.
