Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman visit to Pakistan has been cancelled.
According to the report of the news agency, the Foreign Office has confirmed the news of the cancellation of Muhammad bin Salman’s visit to Pakistan. The new schedule of the Saudi crown prince’s visit will be released later.
It should be noted that the news of the Saudi Crown Prince’s visit to Pakistan came out on November 21 this month, the Saudi Embassy had also confirmed it, after which the Foreign Office started finalizing the visit of the Saudi Crown Prince.
It was being said that the Saudi Crown Prince may announce an additional bailout package of 4.2 billion dollars during his visit to Pakistan.
Diplomatic sources said that during the reign of Muhammad bin Salman, there are possibilities of strong investment in Pakistan and the agreement of Saudi Arabia to establish an oil refinery in Pakistan, while on this occasion the petroleum product agreements with Saudi Arabia were also finalized.
Saudi Arabia was supposed to offer cooperation to Pakistan in setting up a modern oil refinery in Gwadar.
According to the report, before the visit of Muhammad bin Salman, a special team from Saudi Arabia was to arrive in Pakistan at the end of this week to review the arrangements related to the security of the crown prince, after which the visit will be formally dated was to be announced.
