The latest Bollywood celebrity spotting left social users puzzled, as the Indian paparazzi clicked the two young stars, Kartik Aaryan and Tara Sutaria on a dinner date over the weekend, sparking speculations if their outing was of a personal or professional nature.
While fans were excited for the new couple, a section of netizens were of the belief that the ‘Student of The Year 2’ debutante is set to share the screen with Aaryan in the upcoming third film in the blockbuster romance franchise, ‘Aashiqui’.
The casting rumours were further fuelled by a cryptic post shared by Sutaria, as she teased a big project announcement soon.
However, the makers of ‘Aashiqui 3’ have now confirmed that she is not Aaryan’s heroine in the film. Director Anurag Basu of the film responded to the request of an Indian tabloid to comment on the development and clarified, ‘No, the female lead of the film has not been finalised yet. Everything out there is a speculation.’
When specifically asked about Sutaria, he added, ‘No. No one has been finalised.’
