According to the details, Fawad Chaudhry gave this statement regarding the new army chief in a special conversation in Hum News’ program “Breaking Point with Malik” and said that the conduct of the army in the last six months is controversial. There are many questions about the role of the military institution in politics, no one pays tribute to this role.

He further said that this role needs to be changed, our new army chief will be expected to play his role to restore the dignity of the army and the statement regarding separation from politics is a good move. But they should also be visible.

It should be noted that today Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had sent a summary to the President approving the appointment of Lt. Gen. Asim Munir as the Army Chief.
