In the country, there has been a decrease in the value of the US dollar against the interbank, while the price of gold per tola has increased.
According to the All Pakistan James and Jewelers Association, the price of gold per tola in the country has reached Rs 221,000 after an increase of Rs 2,600.
Similarly, the price of ten grams of gold remained at Rs 189,472 after an increase of Rs 2,229. On the other hand, there has been a decrease in the value of the US dollar against the Pakistani rupee in the interbank today.
According to the State Bank of Pakistan, at the close of business in the interbank exchange market, the dollar, becoming cheaper by 13 paisas, closed at Rs 285.39.
In the interbank, the dollar had closed at Rs 285.52 the previous day, according to the State Bank of Pakistan.
On the other hand, in the open market, the exchange rate of the dollar is stable at Rs 287.
