Mumbai: Former Indian tennis star Sania Mirza won the ‘Sportstar Aces Inspirational Icon Award’.
Sania Mirza received the Inspirational Icon Award from former Indian cricketer Sunil Gavaskar at an event held in Mumbai.
On this occasion, Sania Mirza expressed her feelings and said that I am proud to be here today for this award, many incidents happened to me in the last 2 months, in which I also took many decisions.
Talking about the 20-year wonderful career, Sania Mirza said that everyone has been with me in good and bad times throughout this journey, but good times don’t always go together.
Expressing his happiness on receiving the award from Sunil Gavaskar, he said that it is an honor for me to receive the award from a personality like Sunil Gavaskar, it is more than any award and gift for me.
