Minaar-e-Pakistan case: Order to arrest social media star Ayesha Akram

Lahore: The session court has ordered the arrest and production of social media star Ayesha Akram in Minaar-e-Pakistan abuse case.

According to the details, Additional Sessions Judge Ishrat Abbas issued the written decision of the previous hearing of the abuse case in Minaar-e-Pakistan.

The court issued an arrest warrant for Ayesha Akram for not appearing as a witness and ordered the concerned SHO to arrest and produce the other witnesses including the woman.

In the written decision, the court said that other witnesses including the plaintiff were summoned, none of the witnesses including the plaintiff gave importance to the court orders. Hence arrest warrants are issued.

The court adjourned the hearing till January 5, Lari Adda police station has registered a case against Ayesha.

It should be remembered that last month, the court had indicted the accused in the case of ill-treatment of woman Ayesha Akram at Minaar-e-Pakistan, but the accused denied the indictment.

It should be noted that on August 14, Ayesha Akram was subjected to violence and sexual assault by 400 people present at Minaar-e-Pakistan.
