The federal government has requested the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) to increase the price of electricity for K Electric by Rs 3 21 paise per unit. Nepra fixed December 27 for hearing the federal government’s application.
In the application, it is requested to increase the price of electricity for Karachi in quarterly adjustments, the application is made under the condition of maintaining a uniform tariff across the country.
