Islamabad: Electricity has been increased by Rs 4 49 paise for K Electric customers, additional adjustments will be charged in 4 months from January to April 2023.
According to the details, bad news has come for the electricity consumers of Karachi, Nepra has approved to increase the price of electricity up to 4 rupees 49 paise for K Electric consumers.
Nepra says that the increase in prices for different categories will be from one rupee 49 paise to four rupees 49 paise.
NEPRA issued a decision on the request of the federal government regarding the uniform tariff.
Nepra has said that the Nepra authority heard the federal government’s request on December 27. The adjustments were used in October, November, December 2022 and January 2023.
Additional adjustments will be levied in 4 months from January to April 2023, the decision said.
It may be recalled that the federal government had filed an application for a uniform tariff for discos, K-electric.
