25% increase in Green Line Express fares

Karachi: The Railway Department has increased the fares of Green Line Express by 25%. The economy class fare of Green Line train from Rawalpindi to Karachi has been set at Rs 4,000.

According to the railway department, the economy class fare from Lahore to Karachi is fixed at Rs 3,500. The Green Line train business class fare from Rawalpindi to Karachi has been fixed at Rs 10,000.

Green Line Train Business Class fare from lahore to Karachi has been reduced to Rs 9,500. The fare of AC standard from Rawalpindi to Karachi has been increased to 8 thousand rupees. AC standard lahore to Karachi fare has been fixed at Rs 7,600.

The Railway Department says that for the first time a parlor car is being introduced in the Green Line train. LED screens are installed on each seat of the Green Line train parlor car.

Parlor car fare has been increased from Rawalpindi to Karachi 9 thousand and from Lahore to Karachi 8 thousand 550. The Green Line train service was suspended last year when the track was affected by rain.
