KARACHI: The increase in the value of the dollar continues in the country, which is not stopping, the dollar has become more expensive in the interbank market as well.
According to the data released by the State Bank, the value of the US dollar has further increased against the rupee in the country.
In this regard, sources say that on the third day of the business week, the price of the dollar increased by 49 paise in the interbank, after which the American currency is trading at 230 rupees 89 paise.
On the other hand, the dollar was sold at Rs 243 with an increase of 2 rupees 25 paise in the open market. The dollar closed at 230 rupees 89 paise from 230 rupees 40 paise in the interbank market.
It should be noted that so far in the year 2023, the dollar has become expensive by 3 rupees 32 paise, due to the increase in the value of the dollar, an increase of 430 billion rupees has been recorded in the debt burden.
