ISLAMABAD: The Anti-Narcotics Force foiled an attempt to smuggle drugs through overseas capsules in 2 separate operations at Islamabad Airport.

According to the details, the ANF spokesman says that 80 capsules filled with heroin have been recovered from the stomach of a passenger going to Dubai at Islamabad Airport.

According to ANF, 52 hashish and 31 capsules filled with ice were recovered from the stomach of a passenger going to Doha. In both cases, the passengers involved in smuggling have been arrested.

ANF ​​spokesman said that in a joint operation at Peshawar Airport, ANF and ASF recovered 70 grams of hashish from a passenger going to Sharjah and detained the accused.

In another operation, the ANF recovered 510 grams of hashish from a man near the university in Islamabad, who was found to be selling the drug to students.

31 grams of weed was recovered from a parcel sent from Norway at the courier office on Empress Road, The recovered weed was hidden in packets of toffees. ANF ​​has arrested the accused and registered cases against them under the Anti-Narcotics Act.
