An attempt to smuggle drugs abroad by absorbing them in carpets failed

Anti-Narcotics Force operations continue An attempt to smuggle ice into New Zealand and Hong Kong by absorbing ice in carpets has been foiled.

According to Sources, operations of the Anti-Drug Force are ongoing across the country. 11 kg 300 grams of ice absorbed in carpets bound for New Zealand and Hong Kong while operating at a private courier office in the federal capital F11 center.

ANF ​​and ASF conducted a joint operation and arrested 796 grams of heroin from a passenger going to Bahrain at Islamabad International Airport. The accused is said to be a resident of Bonair.

At Peshawar’s Bacha Khan International Airport, 4 hashish-filled capsules were recovered from the stomach of the accused who was going to Sharjah, while 91 capsules filled with heroin were recovered from the stomach of the accused who was going to Saudi Arabia from Multan Airport.

In another operation, ANF recovered 16 kg 800 grams of hashish from a vehicle near Sheikhupura Interchange and arrested the accused.

According to the spokesperson of ANF, cases have been registered against all the arrested accused under the Anti-Narcotics Act.
