New Delhi: 3 employees of the Indian pharmaceutical company that killed 19 children in Uzbekistan and 70 in Gambia have been arrested.
According to Indian media, 3 employees of the Indian pharmaceutical company Marion Biotech have been arrested after the deaths of children from the cough syrup.
Drug Authority of India tested 36 samples of the drug out of which 26 were found to be toxic, police detained 3 employees but 2 directors escaped.
19 children have died in Uzbekistan and 70 in Gambia due to the use of Indian company medicine, yet the Indian Ministry of Health has not issued any statement.
