A young Japanese woman tourist left for Bangladesh after she was molested and harassed on Holi festival, which she reported through a tweet. On the other hand, 3 persons who misbehaved with the young girl have been detained by the police.
According to Indian media, the girl did not file any complaint and she left for Bangladesh yesterday. The girl was forcibly held in the central area of Delhi and painted by people while a boy also broke an egg on the girl’s head.
The police said that action has been initiated against them under the Delhi Police Act, however, the police also said that further legal action will be decided based on the girl’s complaint.
