Sindh Police has taken a big step for the personnel who are disabled in duty accidents and encounters. Provide special motorcycles equipped with facilities to physically challenged personnel.
Special motorcycles were developed for disabled police personnel with a fund of Rs.38 lakh. Initially 19 motorcycles have been produced. They were delivered to the house of disabled personnel.
AIG Faisal Chachar says that specific motorcycles were provided to physically challenged personnel on the instructions of IG Sindh, more than 35 more motorcycles will be provided in the second phase.
Faisal Chachar said that the decision was taken for the welfare of the police personnel on duty, the purpose of providing motorcycles to the personnel is to increase their morale.
He said that all the police officers who were provided with special motorcycles are in service, providing the bikes will make the routine life of the officers easier.
