The moon of Ramadan has been seen in the country, tomorrow will be the first day of fasting

The moon of Ramadan 1444 Hijri was sighted in Pakistan, so the first fast will be tomorrow, Thursday, March 23.

The Chairman Central Viewing of the Crescent Committee Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad has announced the sighting of the moon of Ramadan in the country, he said that the testimonies of the moon have been received from Mardan, Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan, Swabi.

The central sighting of the moon of Ramadan was held in Peshawar under the chairmanship of Maulana Abdul Khabir, chairman of Hilal, while meetings of zonal committees were held across the country.

Central and zonal members of Peshawar, Ministry of Religious Affairs, Department of SPARCO, Department of Meteorology and representatives from Ministry of Science and Technology participated in the meeting. Meetings of zonal committees across the country were held at their respective headquarters in Lahore, Karachi, Quetta, Islamabad.

The Meteorological Department said that the weather in Quetta city is partly cloudy due to which the chances of moon sighting are less while there are chances of moon sighting in other districts of the province. It was likely to be visible from 7:38 p.m. to 7:38 p.m.

It should be remembered that the Ramadan moon was not sighted in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates yesterday, after which the first Ramadan will be on Thursday, March 23.
