Grateful for the decision to withdraw the appeal against the Sudi system.

Jamaat-e-Islami Member National Assembly Maulana Abdul Akbar Chitrali has said that he is grateful for the decision to withdraw the appeal filed against the Sudi Nizam.

Speaking in the National Assembly session, he said that the State Bank and National Bank have withdrawn the appeals filed on the interest system, but the private banks have not withdrawn their appeals.

Maulana Abdul Akbar Chitrali said that the government must take steps to end the usurious system.

Yesterday, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said that the appeals against the decision of the Federal Shariat Court regarding the usurious system will be withdrawn in a few days.

In a statement, Ishaq Dar said that the issue has been discussed in detail with the Governor State Bank, which is promoting the Islamic banking system in the country.

He said that the government and the National Bank are withdrawing their appeals against the decision of the Federal Shariat Court.

He said that the government’s efforts will be taken to rid the economy of usurious system quickly and the appeals against the decision of the Federal Shariat Court will be withdrawn in a few days.
