In Islamabad, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Religious Affairs has announced that over 46 thousand Pakistani pilgrims have already arrived in Saudi Arabia. Additionally, a dedicated team of 272 doctors and medical staff is stationed in Makkah and Madinah, ensuring round-the-clock healthcare services for the pilgrims.
As per the information provided by the spokesperson of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the current count of Pakistani pilgrims who have arrived in Saudi Arabia exceeds 46 thousand. Out of this total, approximately 30,000 pilgrims are in Mecca, while around 16,000 are in Madinah.
As per the spokesman’s statement, the flights from Pakistan to Madinah Munawara have concluded, and starting from now until June 21, all official Hajj flights will be directed to Jeddah.
Prior to Hajj, a significant number of over 42,000 pilgrims are expected to complete their pilgrimage in Madinah. The arrival of pilgrims has also commenced through the private Hajj scheme, and thus far, more than 3,000 pilgrims have arrived in Makkah.
As stated by the spokesman, the monitoring process of 35 Hajj group organizers has been successfully concluded. Additionally, 2 complaints related to the private Hajj scheme have been addressed, and the Department of Missing and Recovery has safely escorted 18 Hajj pilgrims, who lost their way, back to their residences.
Furthermore, the spokesman mentioned that the Hajj Medical Mission is ensuring medical services through 2 hospitals and 12 dispensaries in Makkah and Madinah. A dedicated team of 272 doctors and medical staff is diligently providing round-the-clock treatment facilities in both Makkah and Madinah Munawara.
