The swift restoration process involved reconnecting three power plants situated in the Jhampir wind cluster near Hyderabad to the national grid.

The transmission line disruption occurred due to adverse weather conditions caused by Cyclone Bipper Joy, including heavy rain and wind, resulting in damage to eight transmission line towers.

Despite the challenging weather conditions, NTDC teams worked tirelessly day and night to complete the restoration work under the supervision of Engineer Dr. Rana Abdul Jabbar.

Federal Minister Khurram Dastgir Khan praised the commendable achievement of restoring the transmission line within a short timeframe.
