KARACHI: MD of Sui Northern Gas Company says that consumers of Punjab and KP will get gas only for eight hours.
According to the details, MD Sui Northern Gas Ali J. Hamdani while talking to the media in Lahore said that the supply of gas has been affected due to the Ukraine-Russia war, this time due to the high cost of RLNG in the global market. More gas could not be purchased while providing LPG cylinders in low pressure areas.
Ali J Hamdani said that they are not cutting off gas to the industry, new connections are banned due to the crisis.
Despite the crisis, gas will be provided to domestic consumers in the morning, afternoon and evening, from 6 to 9 in the morning, 12 to 2 in the afternoon and 6 to 9 in the evening.
He said that billions of rupees worth of gas has been stolen, they are taking action against those who use gas by installing compressors.
MD Sui Northern Gas Company said that the price of gas should increase because we cannot buy expensive gas and sell it cheap.
