Israeli tank crew killed a Reuters journalist and wounded six reporters in Lebanon on October 13. The investigation, conducted by Reuters, involved more than 30 officials and experts. The findings indicate that the tank rounds were fired from within Israel, resulting in the death of journalist Issam Abdallah and severe injuries to others.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) were presented with these findings, and while Lieutenant Colonel Richard Hecht denied targeting journalists, the incident is condemned by Reuters and AFP. The attack is considered a violation of international humanitarian law, and calls are made for accountability and explanations from Israel.
