HYDERABAD: Everyone is aware of the fact that only notes can be withdrawn from an ATM, but now it is possible to withdraw gold from it as well.
According to media reports, the first gold withdrawing ATM was installed in the Indian city of Hyderabad.
Users will be able to get gold coins by inserting their debit or credit card into the machine. It is the first gold withdrawing ATM in India.
Developed by a technology company, this mission has been named ‘Gold Coin’.
Pratap, the company’s vice president, said that it has a storage capacity of five kilograms of gold while there are options to extract gold from 0.5 to 100 grams.
Instead of going to jewellery shops, people can directly come here and get gold, says Pratap.
