Various proposals for the project have been reviewed, and a feasibility study will be conducted to assess waste supply, recycling processes, and other aspects of the plant. The Metropolitan Corporation Quetta will conduct a survey and compile data to ensure a steady waste supply for the plant’s smooth operation.

Commissioner Quetta Division, Muhammad Hamza Shafqat, highlighted that the city generates significant amounts of waste daily, which can be utilized to address energy needs while maintaining cleanliness. He emphasized that projects like solid waste management plants and energy plants play a crucial role in ensuring a clean and garbage-free city.
