Due to the harmful effects of smog, on the one hand, the government has announced a holiday for three days in a week on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, on the other hand, an important decision has also been taken regarding the private institutions and sub-offices of Lahore.
After the major order of Lahore High Court regarding smog, the government has announced to keep all private institutions and their sub-offices closed for two days in a week, Friday and Saturday.
In this regard, the Provincial Disaster Management Authority has issued a notification in which it is said that people are being affected due to smog in Lahore.
For this reason, all private institutions and their sub-offices will be closed for two days in a week, Friday and Saturday.
According to Relief Commissioner Punjab, this notification will be effective from today till 15 January 2023.
It should be noted that earlier the Punjab government has issued a notification to keep schools closed for three days a week due to smog.
