In Lahore, the Punjab Police has apprehended the individual responsible for the murder of three individuals, including two police officers, who had been evading capture for a decade.
The accused, identified as Muhammad Arshad, had been concealing his identity in various countries. The Special Operation Cell of the CIA successfully traced the suspect to Italy and, with the assistance of Interpol, the Punjab Police team fulfilled the necessary legal procedures to bring him back to Pakistan.
It should be noted that in 2013, Muhammad Arshad, the aforementioned suspect, fatally attacked his adversary, Shahab Deen, while in police custody, resulting in a fatal exchange of gunfire with two police officers.
