Mian Mubeen Akhtar, the Ambassador of Justice Helpline International, has reached out to higher authorities, urging them to secure the release of Pakistanis detained in Libya and requested that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs intervene to facilitate their return.

It is worth mentioning that these Pakistani individuals have been held in Libyan prisons for the past seven months, as they attempted to migrate to Europe. Recently, a video circulating on social media depicted the plight of these Pakistani detainees, showing a young man confined within the prison walls.

The imprisoned Pakistanis have appealed to the government for assistance in securing their release. The victims have revealed that despite paying money to an agent, they have not been freed from jail. Reportedly, there are 101 Pakistani nationals currently imprisoned in Libya.
