UAE Consul General Karachi expresses regret over Hazara Express accident


KARACHI: UAE Consul General in Karachi, Bakhit Atiq al-Rumiti, has conveyed his deep regret over the unfortunate accident involving the Hazara Express.

According to reports, Bakhit Atiq al-Rumiti is actively overseeing the rescue operations, setting aside all other engagements. He is also providing instructions to the UAE Red Crescent volunteers to actively participate in the rescue efforts.

The Consul General emphasized that the seriously injured passengers are being promptly transported to major hospitals in Karachi to receive the best possible medical treatment.

Bakhit Atiq al-Rumiti, the UAE Consul General, highlighted the UAE government and Red Crescent’s dedicated commitment to serving the Pakistani people. He assured that the injured victims of the accident would receive top-notch treatment facilities.

The Consul General further emphasized that they are in direct coordination with the Pakistani government authorities and Red Crescent volunteers, leaving no stone unturned to ensure the success of the ongoing rescue operation. Their collective efforts are focused on providing immediate assistance and support to those affected by the tragic incident.
