Pakistan’s prominent javelin thrower, Arshad Nadeem, clinched a spot in the final of the World Athletics Championship and simultaneously secured qualification for the upcoming Paris Olympics in the following year.

Arshad Nadeem, with a final throw measuring 86.79 meters, successfully earned his place in both significant international events. Remarkably, he topped Group B, surpassing Vadlejch who secured the second position. Conversely, Indian athlete Jena was unable to advance, finishing fifth with a throw measuring 80.55 meters.
Earlier in May of this year, Arshad Nadeem, representing the Water and Power Development Authority (Wapda), achieved a remarkable feat by winning a gold medal in the 34th National Games. His javelin reached an impressive distance of 78.02 meters.
In a significant achievement, Arshad Nadeem set a new personal record of 90.18 meters during the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham last year, securing a gold medal. Shortly thereafter, he continued his victorious streak by claiming gold at the Islamic Games held in Turkey.
