A delegation representing the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), comprising President Roger Binny and Vice-President Rajeev Shukla, has crossed the Wagah Border and arrived in Pakistan for a two-day visit.

This visit marks a significant development as it is the first delegation sent by the BCCI to Pakistan since 2008. The primary focus of this visit is centered around cricket-related affairs and aims to bolster the cricketing bonds between the two nations. During their stay, the delegation intends to engage in constructive discussions with officials from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on various topics of mutual interest.
In addition to these discussions, the delegation plans to attend the Asia Cup 2023 matches. Furthermore, they will partake in an official dinner hosted at the Governor’s House in Lahore, symbolizing a gesture of goodwill and cooperation between the cricketing communities of India and Pakistan.
