The World Bank will construct flood-damaged houses in Sindh.

Karachi: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah says that the survey for the construction of houses in the province is going on after the flood, the construction work will be started as soon as possible.
According to the details, a delegation of the World Bank met with the Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah, the delegation was headed by the Regional Director.

The Chief Minister said that the World Bank has allocated 100 million dollars to give seeds to farmers, it has been decided to give more money to small farmers who have 12 and a half acres of land.

The Chief Minister said that the World Bank has promised to give 5,000 seeds per acre to the farmers up to 25 acres. Departments are compiling data on total land holdings of farmers, including small farmers.

He said that a survey has been started for the construction of houses in the entire province, the data will be shared with the World Bank as soon as the survey is completed.

The chief minister said that the construction of houses will be started as soon as possible, the World Bank has promised to give 110 billion rupees for the construction of houses. Repair and reconstruction of the affected roads is also going on rapidly in Karachi.
