The JIT investigating the attack on Imran Khan has been changed

Lahore: The Joint Investigation Team investigating the attack on former Prime Minister Imran Khan in Wazirabad has been changed.

According to the details, the Home Department, while issuing a notification, changed the JIT investigating the attack on PTI Chairman Imran Khan in Wazirabad.

Sources say that the Home Department changed all the members due to differences with the JIT chief.

The new members include DPO DG Khan Muhammad Akmal, SP Anjum Kamal, and DSP CIA Jhang Nasir Nawaz. While the decision to appoint the fourth member of any department has been entrusted to the JIT.

It should be noted that the inquiry report of the Prosecutor General on the JIT of the attack on Imran Khan has come out yesterday, in which the Prosecutor General Punjab has recommended legal action against 4 members of the JIT, the report says. That these officers deliberately tried to spoil the high-profile case.

The Prosecutor General termed the letter of 4 members of the JIT against the convener as untrue, and confirmed several points of the report of the JIT convener Ghulam Mehmood Dogar, the report said that 2 reports of the forensic agency. There is clear evidence that there were 3 attackers, the first report mentioned 2 shooters, and later there was evidence of a third shooter.

The report said that these 4 members tried to destroy the evidence which is a misconduct and also a crime. Even the member did not bother to collect data about the accused, it is not correct for these members to say that there was no conspiracy and no political figure was involved.

The report said that the inquiry into the hateful statements against Imran Khan has not been completed yet, the material that Javed Latif, Maryam Aurangzeb, Rana Sanaullah showed against Imran Khan was found on the mobile phone of the accused, the Prosecutor General said that I am afraid. As these 4 JIT members are not only misleading but also biased, I have come to the conclusion that there is enough evidence against these 4 JIT members, therefore action should be taken against them as per law. Jaye, which can be punished with 3 years imprisonment and fine, and 4 members of the JIT should take the mobile and send it for forensics.

Prosecutor General Khaliqul Zaman submitted his inquiry report to Additional Chief Secretary Home. The report states that 3 of the 4 JIT members did not appear for the inquiry, RPO Khurram Ali, SP Naseebullah, AIG Ehsanullah Chauhan did not appear, while the fourth did not appear. Member SP Malik Tariq first said that he was on leave and then sent a letter to the Home Department saying that he had no hope of justice as he was asked to reply through WhatsApp.
