Schedule ready for talks between Pakistan and IMF

Islamabad: A schedule has been prepared for the Finance Ministry and IMF talks, the reports of FBR, Nepra, Ogra will be submitted to the IMF.

According to the details, data exchange from the IMF and the preparation of the procedure for achieving other economic goals has been completed.

Sources in the Ministry of Finance said that a schedule has been prepared for the negotiations between the Ministry of Finance and the IMF for the 9th Economic Review.

Sources say that the reports of FBR, Nepra, Ogra will be submitted to the IMF.

In the NEPRA report, the tariff hike, circular debt reduction plan will be given to the IMF, while the FBR will give a plan to meet revenue collections and shortfalls in the current financial year.

Apart from this, in the Ogra report, the plan of increase in gas tariff, reduction in circular debt will be given to the delegation and the officials of the Ministry of Finance will present the report on the implementation of the targets to the IMF officials.

IMF mission coverport will also be given by Privatization Commission officials.
