In the Indian state of Chhattisgarh, Naxal insurgents killed a leader of the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) by stabbing them with axes and daggers.
According to Indian media, BJP leader Neel kanth Kakim along with his family had come to his native village Pikaram to review his sister-in-law’s wedding preparations.
According to reports, BJP mandal president Neil Kanth Kakim was returning from his village in the Indian state of Chhattisgarh. On the way, Naxal rebels stopped him at Bijapur and killed him with knives and axes in front of his family.
BJP leader Neel kanth Kakkam has been involved in politics for the past three decades and has been active as BJP mandal president at the local level for the past 15 years.
