Free Animation and Gaming Courses at NED University

Karachi: A program of free animation and gaming courses was announced for 2,000 students annually at NED University in Karachi, the capital of Sindh province.

According to the details, Federal Minister for Information Technology Aminul Haq says that the establishment of Center of Excellence has been started in NED University.

Aminul Haq says that Pakistan’s share in the global gaming industry of 500 billion dollars is 50 million dollars, the center will take the gaming industry to 500 million dollars.

He said that free animation and gaming courses will be provided to 2 thousand students annually.

The federal minister said that the center will pave the way for the construction and development of not only Karachi but the entire country, the center of excellence with 13,000 square feet will be operational in 6 months.

He said that 50 companies working in gaming and animation will be provided space in the center, along with the center, the country’s first state-of-the-art virtual production studio is also being established.
