Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain terminated Parvaiz Elahi’s party membership and dismissed him from his post.
Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain had issued a show cause notice to Pervez Elahi on January 16. Pervaiz Elahi was also given notice for calling a meeting in Lahore on January 26
All the posts of Pervaiz Elahi and the party posts of appointed people were also withdrawn. Chaudhry Shujaat stopped Pervaiz Elahi from using the name of Muslim League-Q in future.
According to the sources, a decision has been taken in principle to merge Muslim League-Q into Tehreek-e-Insaaf, Chaudhry Parvez Elahi took the party leaders into confidence on the decision.
