PDM has announced a boycott of the by-elections

The ruling coalition PDM has announced a boycott of the by-elections held on the resigned seats of Tehreek-e-Insaf.

Federal Information Minister Maryam Aurangzeb has announced that the coalition parties have decided not to participate in the by-elections, now the riot party will contest the by-elections and enter the assembly.

Maryam Aurangzeb said that if it was to come in the house, why break the assemblies?

Earlier, Peoples Party and MQM had decided not to participate in the by-elections. It may be recalled that PDM had requested MQM Pakistan not to participate in the by-elections. PDM contacted MQM leadership on this issue, this contact was made on behalf of PML-N leadership under the pressure of PPP.

Sources say that the government was asked to convince MQM and ANP that both the parties should not participate in the by-election.
