Moscow: Russia has announced the suspension of the nuclear weapons deal with the United States due to aggressive policies.
According to the details, Russian President Vladimir Putin has said in his address to the Parliament that he is suspending the New Start Agreement with the United States.
Putin said that it had to be done because of the aggressive policies of the United States against Russia, but the Russian company Rosatom will continue its preparations for nuclear tests.
The Novastar Treaty called for limiting the number of nuclear weapons of Russia and the United States.
On the other hand, US Secretary of State Antony Blanken condemned the announcement of the Russian President and said that Russia has made an irresponsible decision regarding nuclear weapons.
He said that Russia’s suspension of participation in the New Start agreement is regrettable and we are carefully watching what Russia wants to do.
