NA 193: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf took the field

Jampur: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf has won the by-election of NA-193.

According to the unofficial and unofficial results, PTI’s Mohsin Leghari has won by getting 90 thousand 392 votes. Ammar Laghari of Non-League stood second with 55218 votes while Akhtar Hassan of PPP stood third with 20074 votes.

According to the unofficial and unofficial results, the voter turnout in the NA-193 by-election was 47.15 percent.

The people of Jampur celebrated the success of the PTI candidate and danced to the beat of the drum and fed each other sweets.

According to the Election Commission, there were 379 thousand 204 registered voters in the constituency for which 237 polling stations were built, out of which 12 were declared sensitive.

Tight security arrangements were made for the polling, more than 2500 policemen and officers were on duty while Pakistan Army and Rangers personnel were present to assist the police.

There was a complete ban on carrying mobile phones in the polling station.

The said seat fell vacant due to the death of PTI Member National Assembly Sardar Jafar.

During the polling, there were reports of clashes between political workers in different areas, 4 people were injured during the clashes during voting in Government High School Mastoiwala Kotla Mughlan. Where PTI and Non-League workers came face to face.

PTI leader Jamshed Iqbal Cheema expressed the fear of rigging at the time of counting and said that the standing grace of people in Jampur has been destroyed, FIRs were registered against all our UC chairmen and now rigging at the time of counting.

Jamshed Iqbal Cheema said that stop rigging, otherwise the country will go towards civil war.
