PTI nominated Shah Mehmood Qureshi as the Leader of Opposition

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf nominated its vice-chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi as the opposition leader in the National Assembly.

PTI leader Aamir Dogar wrote a letter to Speaker National Assembly Raja Pervez Ashraf and nominated Shah Mahmood Qureshi as the leader of the opposition. The letter also referred to the decision of the Lahore High Court on February 20.

According to the letter, after the decision of the Lahore High Court, the opposition leader should be the PTI, On the instructions of Imran Khan, a letter is being written for the change of the opposition leader.

It has been said in the letter that consultation with the opposition leader is necessary for the appointment of Chairman NAB, For the appointment of Chairman NAB, the opposition leader nominated by PTI will have to be consulted.

The PTI delegation also met the Speaker of the National Assembly, but the Speaker refused to appoint the opposition leader of PTI.

The delegation led by Malik Amardogar discussed the resignations of the former MLAs with the Speaker and requested him to withdraw the move to approve the resignations.

Speaker National Assembly made it clear that according to the rules and regulations of the National Assembly, the resignations have been accepted and letters have been sent again and again, but no member of PTI has appeared.
