PTI’s request for Jalsa at Minar-E-Pakistan rejected.

Deputy Commissioner Lahore Rafia Haider rejected the request of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf to hold a Jalsa at Minar-e-Pakistan.

The DC office wrote a letter to PTI leader Hamad Azhar informing him of the rejection of the application. According to the text of the letter, the conditions in the city are not such that the meeting is allowed.

Former Prime Minister and Chairman PTI Imran Khan, while addressing a Jalsa in Lahore on March 13, announced that on March 19, a Jalsa will be held at Minar Pakistan in which a large number of workers will participate.

Sources told that the caretaker government of Punjab had decided not to allow Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf to hold a Jalsa announced on March 19 at Minar Pakistan in Lahore.

Government sources had said that the caretaker government of Punjab has decided not to allow PTI to hold a meeting or Jalsa. If a rally is held on Sunday, March 19, Section 144 will be imposed in Lahore on that day.
